The  TadGrafters sessions are at the Barn, 1-3 pm on the Wednesday after the Tuesday drop-in session- (making it usually, but not always the second Wednesday of the month).

If working with wood is your kind of thing then you could help on projects such as making hedgehog lodges, insect hotels, bird and bat boxes for local wildlife charities or other worthy causes supporting your local community.  If you would like to help to co-ordinate the group and lead on deciding which projects to make, to be delivered to a particular worthy cause, we would be particularly keen to hear from you. The days and times of the sessions are open to negotiation if that would be a deciding factor in joining us.

To make sure everyone remains safe and knows what they are doing,  numbers are limited to 10. Beginners and experts are both welcome and will help each other along. Equipment is provided, you don’t need to bring anything.

If you are interested in taking part please email Su at to book your place (you must be over 18 and safe enough to use the tools/tasks you select).

**We are currently looking for a group leader who is willing to give us two or three hours a month of their time to co-ordinate this small group.  Wood-working skills are not essential and the meeting times/days are negotiable and can be flexible, however we do need someone who understands the Tadcrafters ethos of community spirit and environmentally-friendly approaches to activities. If you are interested please contact Su on the email address above. **
